All adopters must agree never to declaw and never to let cat outside. Mella was found in an abandoned house with two other cats and a possum. They were hungry and seemed to be bonded. There were no reports of missing cats in the neighborhood. One cat had a spay scar, the rest have been spayed since. Mella is very affectionate and has adapted very well to our open cage shelter. She has made friends among the other cats with no problems.
