CHARLES CITY COUNTY, Va - This amazing video of a suspected tornado was captured in Charles County, Virginia.
The National Weather Service says the suspected tornadoes struck Thursday in new Kent County, Virginia And Louisa County, Virginia.
It?s the same rural community at the epicenter of the August 23rd east coast earthquake.
A witness shot this video of the suspected tornado in Charles City County.
Officials say about a dozen homes and the roof of an elementary school were damaged when the twister cut a six-mile swath through Western New Kent.
Reports say one person was slightly injured but did not require hospital treatment.
The funnel cloud also ripped off the roof of a historic plantation house.
Officials say weather service teams could begin surveying the damage as early as Friday to confirm if the events were indeed tornadoes.
